Joseph Edet Takes Home 1st Prize
Twelve eager participants gathered for the September 20th Mock session, each determined to showcase their biblical knowledge and skills. The competition commenced with a question from Matthew 18: “According to Matthew, when Jesus’s disciples asked him who was the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, what did Jesus first do before he said anything?” Ten participants answered correctly, citing that Jesus called a little child to him (Matthew 18:2), and proceeded to the next round.
In the 5-minute word ministration session, participants were scored based on their performance. The scores were as follows ¹:
– Top Scorers:
– Paul King (7/10)
– Joseph Edet (7/10)
– Ekaete Usenobong (7/10)
– Ndukeobong Bassey (7/10)
The participants who scored 7/10 were asked additional questions from Matthew 19. Although all five participants passed the first round, none of them answered the subsequent questions correctly hence there was no clear winner emerging after three rounds.
